Ornate brass doorknob on a black painted door — the kind of detail a listing photographer notices
Yellow Springs · the kind of detail we're after

Fresh eyes wanted · Yellow Springs / Dayton

If you love looking at homes and you love photography, we can do this in a way that actually makes sense.

I'm a Dayton / Yellow Springs REALTOR® building a lean, creative, very not-corporate real estate practice. I already handle video, Matterport, copy, and marketing. I'm looking for a local collaborator for still photos only.

    The brief, in five words

Stills. Local. Architectural eye. Real gear. Human.

    01 — What this is

A small, ongoing collaboration. Not a job listing.

I'm not building an agency. I'm building a practice with taste. Listings come in waves — sometimes a few a month, sometimes a quiet stretch. When one comes up, I want to text one person and know the photos will be good.

You'd shoot the home: exteriors, interiors, the small details that make a place feel like somewhere. I handle the rest — staging notes, scheduling with sellers, the marketing, the story. You focus on what you're already good at.

    02 — Who I'm hoping finds this

    Probably someone like…

You may be new to real estate photography. That's fine — maybe even better. What I care about is the eye, the gear, and the way you treat a space.

    01

    An up-and-coming local

You're building a portfolio and homes are a category you actually want in it.

    02

A retired pro with itchy hands

You miss shooting on a schedule. You'd like a few projects a month, not forty.

    03

A passion photographer with a day job

Architecture, light, composition — this is the side of your life you protect.

    04

Someone who notices the corner of the room

The doorknob. The window light at 4pm. The story a kitchen tells.

    03 — The split

What I bring to the shoot. What I'm hoping you bring.

    I handle

    • — Scheduling and seller communication
    • — Staging notes and prep checklists
    • — Video and Matterport tours
    • — Listing copy and marketing
    • — Getting paid, on time

    You bring

    • — A real camera and lenses you trust
    • — A point of view about light and space
    • — Reliable turnaround (we'll agree on what that means)
    • — Local-ish: Yellow Springs, Dayton, Xenia, nearby
    • — Willingness to learn the small craft of listing photography

    04 — How it works

Light process. Real respect for your time.
